My tasks: - Managing Skype for Business servers. 750+ servers in total. - Project implementation SCOM for general monitoring of all servers - Complete project SMA for automatic Windows Update management - 3rd line Skype for Business / Microsoft Teams support - Management of the FortiGates, F5 Firewall, Cisco Routers - Apply SSL certificates - Manage RDS environment - Working with SharePoint 2016, MSSQL 2014, SfB 2015, MS Teams - Working with PowerShell
2018-2019DICTU / Ministerie van Economische Zaken
De Dienst ICT Uitvoering (DICTU) delivers IT and digitale services for Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and a number of other ministries. DICTU has around 14.000 users located in the Netherlands.
My tasks: - The maintenance, monitoring and management of the SharePoint 2016 farm environment. - The SharePoint 2016 farm of DICTU consists of 4 back-end, 4 front-end and 14 search servers. The acceptance and production environments are both equal. - Cleaning event logs, patching, performance monitoring, network monitoring, applying security best practices are part of my daily tasks. - Working with SharePoint Dsc PowerShell. - 2nd and 3rd line support to the users of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, LNV, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, NVWA and Legal Affairs. - The working method is mandatory according to ITIL principle. For example, incidents are handled with Topdesk, changes must be approved and everything must first be carefully tested. - Maintaining the Skype for Business 2015 environment. This environment consists of two times 10 servers. - Experience with ITIL principle, Topdesk, SharePoint 2016, Skype for Business 2015, SCOM - Migration preparations for SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint 2019 & to Azure. - Working with MS Intune.
2011 - 2018Datacon / Cloudshape
Datacon is a specialist in application integration, API management and provides other various IT services. I started as a trainee and managed to stay as a system administrator. From the starting of my career I am mainly resposible for various customer environments, including our office environment. I am also working closely with our subsidiary ‘Cloudshape’, where I am also mainly reposibile for the current migration to the Cloud.
My tasks: - Manage up to 400 servers (Datacon and Cloudshape together), divided over more data centers and cloud services (Azure and Amazon). These are Microsoft Servers (2016/2012/2008, 2003 has just been phased out), virtualized with (Datacon) Hyper-V (2016/2012R2) and (Cloudshape) VMware (5.0/5.5). The servers contains: MS SQL 2017/2016/2014/2012/2008/2005 (also MySQL, domain controller 2016/2012, webserver, sharepoint servers, exchange 2010, adfs, backup services, monitoring, wsus, ftp server, domain trust, dns servers, web application proxy servers, rds servers, certificate servers etc; - Various advisory roles: setting up a desired infrastructure, improving the infrastructure, implementing security aspects, managing/maintaining servers, investigating fauls and solving these; - Automation of monitoring tasks with PowerShell. - Perform preventive maintenance of systems and software; - Checking, monitoring and protecting the entire infrastructure; - Security of the network, application management, support, troubleshooting, implementation of the best solutions with a view on costs; - Ticketing System JIRA (Datacon) and Topdesk (Cloudshape); - Installation and configuration of various servers, clusters and farms; - 2nd and 3rd line support for internal colleagues and external customers; - Installation and configuration WDS servers; - Configuration and maintaining Office365 products, also combining this with ADFS; - Experience with MacOS, Windows XP up to version 10; - Experience with Android and iOS; - Microsoft Azure; building/configuring servers, web services, database services, Azure AD, TFS online, DNS; - Install, maintain, fine-tune and documentating of ESB software (Mulesoft and Dell Boomi); - Amazon; EC2/VPC: Creating and configuring servers, configuring firewall, routing tables, vpn security groups, load balancers, queue services, api gateway; - Installation of desktops of laptops; - Working with VMware, VSphere, Hyper-V, System Center VMM, VCenter;
